The same day that I went to Granite Point, I saw both Dr. Malloy and Dr. Altman. Dr Malloy was up front and gave me all of the options with the procedures for the retinal detachment. He did the procedure with the gas bubble right away. He called in Dr. Altman and said that they had to do something so I could function again. They worked together and Dr. Altman was scheduled out 2 months for surgery and he got me in 1 1\/2 weeks from that day. I am so grateful for both of them and everyone at Granite Point. Everyone made me feel really good and knew that I was scared and they all reassured me that I had the best doctors taking care of me. They were so right. Dr. Primack had a busy schedule but agreed to see me. After his exam there was an urgency for immediate blood work and follow-up with Dr. Goldberg in the Wyomissing office the very next day. Dr. Primack told the receptionist, “if Dr. Goldberg is doubled book it doesn’t matter,” this patient must see Dr. Goldberg tomorrow! The prompt response by Dr. Primack and the follow-up with Dr. Goldberg confirmed I have a rare disease called “giant cell arteritis” which can cause blindness. After just losing my wife of fifty-three years the thought of starting over at 73 as a blind man was inconceivable! I keep searching for the words to properly express my thanks to Dr. Primack and Dr. Goldberg for their prompt and professional care that saved my eyesight. It just seems like THANK-YOU isn’t enough.<\/p>\n 8\/1\/22<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Dr. Primack took time to explain my eye condition and the options I had for better vision. \nDr. Goldberg was wonderful. He explained my condition and what corrective actions might be needed, very clearly. He explained the purpose of the various eye tests he performed, and what the results meant. I did not feel the least bit rushed during my appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Goldberg to anyone.\n

\nDr. Primack came highly recommended to me by my optometrist. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Primack and his knowledge and experience from our first meeting. The entire experience with each eye surgery was very professional and I could not be any happier with the results. I know longer wear glasses to drive or do any other activities like watching TV or reading. I would encourage anyone who may need cataract eye surgery to make an appointment to talk to Dr. Primack.
